Innocent People Who Were Wrongly Imprisoned
WILLIAM DILLON Back in 1981, William Dillon was a talented young baseball pitcher who planned to try out for the Detroit Tigers. Those plans were ruined when he was arrested on murder charges in Florida. Despite having a good alibi, Dillon was convicted the crime because his prison inmate claimed that Dillon confessed to the crime.
Dillon served 27 years of his sentence before finally being exonerated thanks to DNA evidence in 2009. He now performs in a band comprised of fellow exonerated convicts.
